My work is informed by my studies and experience in psychiatric nursing, psychology, crisis counselling, vocational and mental health rehabilitation, school counselling, transpersonal and emotional-release counselling, holotropic breathwork and body-based practices including meditation, yoga and Chi Kung.
Over many years of working with adults and young people, I’ve always valued approaches that include the body, calm the mind, regulate energy, master emotions, encourage self-awareness and support authentic growth.
Kinesiology has been an invaluable support for me professionally and personally since my first session with Parajat Wiesmer in Byron Bay nearly forty years ago.
Kinesiology naturally includes and extends my work beyond talking therapy, offering a practical, holistic pathway for people to realign with their intentions and wellbeing.

For example, physical pain may include:
Physical:muscles, ligaments, joints, organs, glands, bones, tissues
Emotional:feelings
Mental:thoughts and beliefs
Each each key aspect interacts with the others, if one side is out of balance or under stress, it impacts the other two sides. Working with more than one aspect brings greater stability and alignment.
By communicating directly with the body using ‘muscle testing’ we can reduce stress patterns, improve function, and access deeper subconscious responses. This process supports coherence and allows the body-field to reorganize naturally toward alignment across all aspects.
The balancing session activates life energy, accelerating the body’s innate healing process and helping you reconnect with your intention for change.

Gentle muscle feedback is used to help identify priorities and reveal the most effective path to the change you want accessing the multiple levels on each side of the Triangle of Health.
You are fully involved throughout. I'll explain what I'm doing in plain language, listen carefully to how your body responds, and help you make sense of what's emerging. Your role is to notice what you experience, connect with what resonates, what feels different.
To consolidate your session, we will reflect on what was learned or recognised, embody what shifted and explore any practical next steps needed to integrate and support the positive change in your everyday life.
